3D Design Brief
We are a local community organization on Long Island.
We have an artifact from the World Trade Center for which we want to erect a monument. Image of artifact is attached.
The memorial must be creative, modern and ultimately uplifting and unique.
We want something more than a piece of steel sitting on a concrete block.
The memorial will be erected on a garden site at a local library.
The steel piece measures about 42 inches long and weighs 50+ pounds.
The memorial must fit inside the ellipse of the garden area at the library.
The piece of steel is oddly shaped and kind of looks like a rudder.
Edges of the steel are rough/sharp.
Some design ideas have included "starburst" and/or eternal flame, Open to all ideas and concepts.
Photos of site and steel are attached.

- I've uploaded a photo of a starburst/sunburst as an example of something that to me reflects a very positive energy, hope and is beautiful as well. Wondering if designs can incorporate something like this. Can a starburst and eternal flame concepts somehow be combined in one design? Hope this add'l info helps.
