Business Card Design Brief

We need a new business card for our company SL Investment Management. We are a niche Alternative Investment Fund Manager based in Chester, in the North West of the UK.We market our services to global institutions such as banks, insurance companies, pension funds, etc. as well as wealthy individuals. Our main markets are Europe (Germany\France\Switzerland), the US and parts of Asia.
The design needs to be in line with existing company branding. Life the assets we deal with, the business card might suggest, "niche\alternative" type of attributes - however, it needs to remain professional, clean and appropriate for our client base.
Our existing business card format with relevant factual information is included, along with logo and branding details.

- the "reception" word on reverse can be omitted.
- the "retail: www.surrendalink.co.uk" wording can be omitted.
- the QR code is not required in the new version.

• information on current business card, subject to comments provided above.

Nice to have

• Use of areas of solid colour instead of large areas of white space might be nice to experiment with. However, still need to have the general look and feel of the brand as presented on our website www.slinvest.co.uk
• If we had space for 3 bullet points describing what we do\who we are, this might be good to try out. e.g. alternative investment fund manager, longevity specialist, founded 1990.
• Also, we have a new tag line, "expertise with longevity" which might fit nicely somewhere on the business card.

Should not have

• - no QR code
• - should not use all the colours in our logo as it looks very garish! Using one or two colours with black\white etc, seems to work better.
