Logo Design Brief
We need a logo, color palette and typography for our startup. The winner of this competition will have first right of refusal on other design collateral for our project.
Our product is called DiscoverSpace.
We're a cloud based eDiscovery product serving law firms and government agencies. eDiscovery is the process of mining valuable data from email and user generated files from computers when companies are in litigation. It saves clients tons of money while keeping bloodthirsty attorneys on a short leash by promoting less irrelevant content for them to review.
Many attorneys charge 300-900$ an hour to review documents. We help narrow the scope to control the bleeding in litigation. This allows anyone to participate in business litigation, not just the fabulously wealthy.
The eDiscovery process is usually very expensive. Because of our innovations, utility computing, open source software and low cost, high performance cloud storage - we're able to run faster, leaner and utterly outperform our competition at a fraction of the price.
DiscoverSpace is browser agnostic and very easy to use. It's also highly scalable and extremely efficient. It's a completely new concept in eDiscovery, which is in itself a 16 billion dollar industry. It threatens to upset the entire industry in a very real way.
DiscoverSpace tells evidentiary data's story through rich charts, graphs and analytics. Faceted search and filter options allow legal teams to laser in on the most important data quickly, then promote that data to their favorite review platform. it's super fast, it's low cost and it's very easy to use. Traditional eDiscovery methodologies don't meet any of this criteria.
We're a young group, appealing to the younger class of attorneys who trust and consume cloud services. We're not dealing with the old guard or ambulance chasers. The demographic we serve is 30-45, well compensated and educated young entrepreneurs. Many of them know some programming, have some technical background or are engineers as well as attorneys.
It's a demographic that gets it done on their own, and wants to use the best tools. Forget the concept of the 3 piece suit attorney dictating rhetoric to a drone secretary. These are subject matter experts who move fast and demand results.
We like DiscoverSpace.
We like the concept of the firms 'putting it up in Space' when it's time to examine data. Many firms 'run out of Space' when they try to store terabytes of client data on their own systems. We like the concept that it's one giant step above the cloud.
Winner of the contest will have first right of refusal on our next project, DiscoverIO, a simple file transfer application that works great with DiscoverSpace.
