Logo Design Brief

This is a new company - There are no constraints on creativity. The object is to help others quit there jobs and become 'traders of the markets (Forex, Commodity futures, shares & indices)

It is a company for which the website (and other social media) will be the primary client attainment platform and interface with new and existing clients.

The products will be trading seminars, trading books and literature. Plus a monthly paid for trade alerts system providing 'high probability trades' for those subscribers.

There is a larger Macro element that is client wealth building of which Market speculation, is for now the primary thrust.

I wish there also to retain a dynamic and entrpreneural theme.

I am a bit of a maverick and so are potential clients - left field elements can be interesting and accomadated.

Possible over emphasis on the text so far

- I am looking for an insightful image that captures some of the characteristics from the brief emphasis on the logo - can be abstract or other but has some of the elements of the business acumen.

I would like to encourage some more broader concepts - wisdon, wealth and patience are sage like possibilities, something that could encompass a person or animal (cue loads of owl submissions ; - ) just to make the feel more personable to those who see it as well as encompassing the precision that goes with the sniping concept.

My previous company logo which was about wealth building too.

It had a honey badger animal... the principle was that it  had a nose for the sweet stuff in life that sets our lifestyle.

This african animal works in tandem with the beeeater bird. one often finds the hive and the badger follows it in and breaks it open for himself and the bird. a partnership in motion.

The colours were bright to uplift websites etc...

I believe that animals and a small parable provides a conversation starter. I am looking for a bit more of a story behind any logo. not just a basic design and text. hence the higher ticket price behind the . logo design.

I will submit the old image.

Please avoid direct analagy to making cash' ie bank notes, exotic cars etc.. I seek more subtlety than that - ie. the honey example above for wealth creation..

Hi, I have been impressed by the animal references particularly the Bee eater and to an extent the owl.

Love the colours in the bee eater, can we work this theme a bit more on the fonts, colours etc.. that is one of the leading contenders in idea.

whilst still open to brilliant left field ideas. 

the scope and bird is getting traction with me.

Predominantly but not exclusively male (80/20).

People who take control of there personal finances, and see there quality of life and financial freedom as something they control directly.

Independent, self directed, people who come to there own opinions. Sometimes even mavericks, above average intelligence and confident (they believe they can beat the market participants, and have even done so occasionally or believe it can be done)

Requirements

Must have

• A distinctive Logo - that echoes indepenedence, wealth building, confidence.
  
  More specifically the way in stacking the odds in your favour, ie. awaiting for high probability trades (patience, cunning ie..snipers)

Nice to have

• Upbeat colours - I like Purple, Orange, green as well as many others.
  
  Good tie in to financial freedom/wealth building and success, accuracy a precision patient operator , who observes and thinks before he acts, but when he acts he acts decisively with maximum leverage or effect.

Should not have

• Nothing explicitly violent although targeted is fine given the sniper phrase ie.. hand guns are not desired although a scope crosshairs can be used if the context is appropriate.
  
  I like Verdana as a font but am looking for something else, common email fonts to be avoided for lack of uniqueness ie. Times new roman or Arial
