Logo Design Brief

We require a new logo for The Loxton Club Inc. We are looking for a simple design, it needs to be modern yet classic so it doesn't date quickly. The logo will be used on our new website, on our menus, business cards and on the outer wall of the Club's front entrance. We would also love some suggestions of a slogan/catchcry for the Club, a few words to describe our business (our vision or mission) if anyone would like to put their ideas forward that would be great.

The Loxton Club is community owned and operated hospitality venue, which prides itself on being family friendly. We offer a quality, affordable and efficient service. You will always be welcomed with a smile.

Our fantastic dining room offers a variety of bistro style meals, a wonderful playroom and undercover kids playground. We have a gaming lounge with up to the minute gaming machines. Our bars offer a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere and we can cater for any private function. The Loxton Club offers a range of top class entertainment regularly throughout the year.

Loxton is a small country town of about 8000 people based in the Riverland region of South Australia. The Riverland region comprises of 5 major towns and each of them (including Loxton) has the beautiful Murray River running through them.

We have uploaded a file containing our current logo, which is truly terrible.

• We are open to logos that are text only or even text only (Loxton Club in full) with a design using the acronym (LC). We would also like to see a logo image with the text as another option. We are very open to the ideas of the designer. A range of different options would be good, which is why we have selected more that one style of logo below. Please be experimental with fonts (nothing hard to read). We want modern and interesting but we don't want the logo to go out of date quickly.
• It would also be nice to see a slogan or catchcry included in the logo design e.g. The Loxton Club! 'Where the good times roll'... (not this exact slogan). This is not essential but if anyone has a few words that they think would describe our business and want to include with the logo design that is also welcomed
