Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a new home care agency in the New York and Connecticut market (U.S.). The company is named Gentle Heart Home Care and provides home care assistance to the elderly. Our tagline is "Home is where Gentle Heart is." As a result, I want my logo to portray TRUST, care, understanding, comfort and honesty. I want to steer clear of the color blue because it is over-used in my industry. I do not mind aqua or soft blues with more green in them. I also like peach, soft orange, green and/or yellow. For this project, I would like both horizontal and stacked versions of my logo using no more than 2 colors. I will also need a grayscale and knockout version of the logo. When designing the logo, the emphasis should be placed on Gentle Heart, not Home Care.

Target Market(s)

My target market includes those who will utilize my home health care services and their children or caretakers. Those who use my services will be age 65 and older. Their children and/or caretakers are age 40 and over. My market lives in Westchester County, NY and their average household net worth is $500,000 and up.
