Logo Design Brief

The world's fastest and safest half mile ice oval race track.
Snowmobiles race in excess of 170km/h.
Up to 18 racers compete at the same time.
Over 100 racers compete from all over North America.
An estimated 10,000 fans take in the two day event.
It is the longest running snowmobile race in the world.
Junior, Amateur, Semi-Pro, and Pro Levels.
Vintage, Stock, Modified, and Motorcycle classes.
CPTC is community-based non-profit organization.
Over 250 volunteers work to organize and staff the event.

The first snowmobiles invented were called Power Toboggans. 54 years ago when our event was created, we held the Canadian Championship of Power Toboggan Racing. This name can be quite a mouthful and hard to read on billboards, and signs. We are looking for a new logo that reflects our fast paced and exciting sport, that will be easily recognized and easily readable.

Since we are the Canadian Championships, our colours are Red and White. Black can also be used. Since our race track is in the shape of an oval, an oval could also be incorporated into the design.

Canadian Power Toboggan Championships is also known as CPTC for short.
