Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for my bakery, which is called Homeslice Bakery. It is a friendly company and I want to have quite a cool, sophisticated brand, nothing pink, cartoony, cutesy etc - you see that a lot with cake companies and they all blend in to one another.Here is my website from when I was selling cakes in 2014: www.huttswickandallenby.com - I think I'm going to pretty much keep the website, just do a little re-brand, so that gives you some idea of the kind of feel I'm going for. I would ideally have something that works in a square - either a section/reworking of the full logo, or the full logo itself working in a square - most of my promo will be through Twitter, Facebook and Instagram so need a good profile pic for those. Maybe the logo could be a badge sort of thing in a circle or even a hexagon shape! I am leaning towards black and white, but wouldn't be opposed to a touch of colour. Maybe aqua/turquoise/teal? Requirements

Must have

• Need a transparent/watermark version too if poss.
• Would like some kind of focus on the 'slice' element of the business name - slice of cake - see sketches attached.

Nice to have

• A version of the logo that would work in a square as twitter/instagram/facebook icon. Happy for the whole logo to work in that shape, otherwise a re-working of the whole logo.

Should not have

• Cute/cartoony elements, pink, cake/cupcake based shape
