CD Cover Design Brief

What do you envision when you think of an album cover? Lets see it. I seek a professional looking design that will make the cover (front and related back) of my debut ep catch the eye of people walking past it on the shelf. With or without color, symbolic reference or not, simple or complex doesn't matter; creative freedom is welcomed and encouraged. The only requirement is that the attached symbol is included somewhere in the design (whether that means you make it the upfront centerpiece or somewhere less blatant in the design)... I'll add song files so you can get a reference of the type of songs going on the cd... My stage name is "Matt Ire" and it is a self titled album.
