Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo designed for an international company HQ'd in Cyprus, with offices in Spain, Hong Kong & UK. We provide payment solutions, such as corporate remittence, merchant online processing (collecting of funds for the purchase of goods) & ForEx trading for large international corporations. The logo should have a 'corporate' feel, although we would very much like to see a logo that incorporates an italic font, such as the Couttes Bank logo (uploaded). Would like to see a version using a dark red colour. An alternative 'Avant Garde' version would be good to look at - (please see 'Altair' logo attached), however using this as an example, would like to see larger & 'finer' font.

Note: 'Artimus' was the Greek God of wealth.
