Logo Design Brief

We are a new non profit conservation program ("Northern Rockies Trumpeter Swan Stewards") that unites people in innovative partnerships to help restore a vulnerable Trumpeter Swan population and protect key nesting habitat. We'd like a logo that captures the beauty of Trumpeter Swans and the vulnerability of their nesting. A logo based on the nesting swan photo attached with the suggestion of the Rocky Mountains and water behind would be great. It would also be nice if the logo could capture the idea of people working together to make these vulnerable birds secure, but that might be asking too much.

Requirements

Must have

• image of a nesting Trumpeter Swan that conveys enough bill detail that a person can tell it is a trumpeter and not some other species.
• based on the attached photo of a nesting swan without the background vegetation detail;
• swan should be white with black bill
• other in blues or earthtones

Nice to have

• could have a perception of mountains and water in the background instead of the vegetation that is in the photo
• emphasize the beauty of the swans
• concept of people working in partnership
• oval shape
• could have our name curved around the logo with NORTHERN ROCKIES at the top and TRUMPETER SWAN STEWARDS at the bottom
