Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new private military contractors fraternal association. The association membership will be made up of former overseas private military contractors, who are mostly military veterans, law enforcement officers, EMS workers, security professionals, etc. This membership association will be Internet based. Our initial effort will be to launch a web based forums for members to to discuss pertinent issues that are relevant to their needs, such as health/medical, financial, employment, etc.

The design should incorporate black, red and/or white, but not necessarily limited to just those. It could make use of a bear paw in some form or fashion such as slashes left from the claws, or the bear paw itself as part of the design, but that it is not a necessary to include these aspects. The final design should communicate strength, brother/sisterhood, and U.S. patriotism, military, etc.

We have included some sample bear paw related jpegs that may help give you an idea as to a baseline of what a bear paw is. Remember, you do not have to use the bear paw in its entirety, or at all. You are free to allude to it through artistic suggestion, or in whatever way you feel works best. What is important is that you are highly encouraged to use your artistic talents to to come up with something unique, eye catching and enduring that communicates strength, brother/sisterhood, and U.S. patriotism, military, etc.
