Logo Design Brief

Hi there. We essentially need an cartoon sandwich with iconic toasted sandwich markings, filled with the word "TOASTIES", with the letters of "TOASTIES" able to be read quickly and clearly while visually reading as melty, oozy cheese rolling out of the bread. (See attached sketch for my rough...rough structure and vision.

NOTE: It will be printed as a decal onto a 800mm x 800mm cloudy perspex panel, that will be rear lit in a light box with LED lights. Thus during the day it will be colour, and at night it will be in silhouette and rear lit. So the use of negative space is important.

I really want to see a comfort food classic in cartoon form, with clear detailing of a toasted sandwich machines iconic shaped lines on the top of the bread, the shiny melted surface of the cheese, the pooling of the melted cheese out of the bread to show delicious excess, and I really want to see clever use of negative space as (to repeat for effect...sorry) the logo will become a silhouette at night while rear lit. So please pay attention to separating the letters, bread, textures on the cheese and bread with negative space so they read both in day and night. Think stencil at night as a base.
