Logo Design Brief

Our name is 'Affinity FabWerks' .We are a custom fabrication company that designs & manufactures accessories mainly focused on but not limited to offroad racing & recreation. The majority of our products are focused around UTV's (side-by-sides, RZR's, Mavrick's, etc). We make things such as roll cages, suspension components & fiberglass bodies.
For a logo we looking for something that is graphical but simple, not too busy. We are undecided on color at this point so we are open to suggestion. The plan is for our company attire that will feature the logo to be a medium to dark gray so something that will look good on that would be ideal.
Our tag line is 'Form Meets Function' however we are unsure if we should include this as part of the actual logo. Possibly do a full logo & an abbreviated version with just 'AFW'?
