Logo Design Brief

Thirsk Fabrications is a specialist steel fabrication company based in North England. The current logo is very basic and was never designed to be used in a digital capacity. We are looking for a simple, bold new logo that will be more appropriate for digital and the web.

We specialise in complex & Intricate steel fabrication in areas such as Football Stadiums, buildings, facade retention and temporary propping.

The current logo is used on our buildings, letterheads, business cards, so I am keen not to stray too far from the current style, but bring it into the 21st century.

Hi All,


Thanks so much for your designs. Just to answer a few of your questions. With regards font types I would prefer to stick to sans-serif fonts. 

I also just wanted to mention a few of you have noted the "house" and I just wanted to let you know that it represents an industrial building rather than a house. We predominantly work on large scale fabrication such as towers and stadiums etc. I will post some extra pictures of the work we do.

  • The logo must be designed to be stand alone or displayed with the company name "Thirsk Fabrications". We are happy to drop the Limited from the logo. Also please note the corporate colour is blue, although I am happy to look at changing the tone of this.
Should not have
  • We are not looking for slogans to be included in the logo.
