Logo Design Brief

We need a logo designed for our new Video Production company based in Horsham, West Sussex. We are called Sonic Media and we specialise in weddings, Corporate videos/advertisements, music gigs, and original content for online platforms.

Our values are Creativity, Relationship, and Affordability. We strive to be innovative in our video and sound creation, giving clients a modern but different look to what is expected from products such as ours. We are passionate about what we do, and wish to get clients as passionate about the creative process and we are, and therefore creating good and honest relationships with them. These relationships we believe should be based on complete honesty and professionalism, but also being a business known for being able to help the underdog. Video production is not a cheap business, so we know a lot of small companies and organisations cannot always afford “professional” production work, so we strive to create unique, creative production that anyone can afford.

The logos we believe look the best are those that are primarily black and white with a small use of colour within it. This is the type of logo we would like. The colours need to be able to be inverted, so one colouring for white backgrounds such as websites or paper, and one colouring for black backgrounds for t-shirts etc. We quite like Ice Blue as a colour, but this is not essential.

We would like a logo that is able to be separated into 2 parts, the text and the logo image, this can either be at the side, the top, or in between the text (examples will be places below). This will allow us to use the logo image in a square frame for areas like social media, as well as a full logo with out company name for letter heads and bigger spaces.

We need our design to reflect our video production rather than implying sound production, as well as reflecting our name.

Requirements

Must have

• A logo that can be separated from company name to use on social media platforms. Must reflect video production. Must be able to be inverted for white and black backgrounds.

Nice to have

• Use of camera lens as an image maybe. Single or small amounts of colour.

Should not have

• implementing sound production over video production. copyrighted fonts, all fonts must be accessible for company to use for websites and other mediums for future use.
