Logo Design Brief

The logo is for a blog that deals with Japanese anime. It has to have a modern feel to it, something that shouts new, innovative, and anime. The name of the Blog is Dream Clowd and it will encompass mainly Japanese anime with other related topics such as J-pop, and manga. Although we are dealing with Japanese anime I don’t want something heavily influenced by Japanese culture so no Mount Fuji or rising suns, etc. Our tagline is “Entra al mundo clowd” it can be integrated into the design but it is not necessary.
The logo has to be simple in design and attractive to the eye, I don’t want pastel colors or something that is too girly. The logo must have the impact to become recognizable as a synonym with the blog and anime. This is not a corporate logo so it does not have to be so serious, it can be fun. The logo must also be flexible enough that it can be easily printed in shirts or other type of merchandise. We are focusing mainly on Spanish speaking audiences, specifically Mexican nationals between the ages of 13-25.
We want to be blown away by your design, if you are familiar with anime, manga, video games, you might have a feel for what we are looking for, but really we want your design to slap us on the face with cool.


El logo es para un blog que se trata sobre el anime (Japanese anime). El logo tiene que ser moderno, algo que al verlo sienta uno que dice nuevo, inovativo y anime. El nombre del blog es Dream Clowd y como mencionamos anteriormente se va a tartar en su mayoria sobre el anime aunque vamos a tener otros temas como el J-pop, manga, etc. Aunque nosotros nos enfocamos en el anime japones no queremos que nuestro logo este muy influenciado por la cultura japonesa, no queremos ver soles japoneses of montanas Fuji en el diseno. Nuestro dicho es “Entra al mundo clowd.” Y esta frase puede ser utilizada en el logo pero no es necessario.

El logo tiene que ser simple en diseno y atractivo, no queremos ver colores pastel o algo muy afeminado. El logo tiene que tener el la fuerza para convertirse en algo reconozido y sinonimo con el blog y el anime. Este no es un logo para una corporacion asi que no tiene que ser tan serio, puede ser divertido. El logo tambien tiene que tener la suficiente flexibilidad para poder ser utilizado como logotipo en mercancia como camisetas u otro tipo de mercancia. Nosotros nos enfocamos principalmente en audiencia hispanas particularmente en Mexico, entre las edades de 13 a 25.

Queremos un diseno que nos impresione, si tienes familiaridad con el anime, manga, o juegos de video probablemente tienes una muy buena idea de lo que queremos, pero en realidad queremos que tu diseno nos bofetee en la cara y nos deje diciendo, magnifico!
