About the Brand
Traverrse (est. 2004) is a workwear manufacturer based in the UK with distributors worldwide. The brand is synonymous with safety, quality and comfort and is trusted by workers worldwide to provide the highest level of protection. Traverrse currently manufactures a range of safety workwear (coveralls, hi-vis vests), safety footwear, hand protection (gloves and gauntlets), eye protection (specs and goggles) and other PPE accessories (knee pads, zero hoods). The Traverrse brand will also be expanding into non-safety workwear (softshell jackets, work trousers, fleeces and accessories) in the near future.
We would like to pull the brand away from the ‘safety’ element and focus more on ‘workwear’ to incorporate our new products into the brand.
Traverrse items are not exclusively manufactured in the UK so our brand must not focus on the UK and needs to work on a global scale.
Our products are used in industries such as energy (oil and gas, renewables both on and offshore), engineering, welding, fabrication and construction. Our target audience is large industrial companies, small independent companies and the individual end user working in trade or industry. The brand needs to be professional but not corporate, and recognisable.
Traverrse is a mid-range workwear brand, we would like to keep the brand in the mid to high end range.
New logo
Logo can be typographic or emblem based. If an emblem is used, we should also be able to use this independently from the logo as a graphic element.
- Timeless logo to use for the foreseeable future
- Must be clean and simple, nothing over complicated or busy
- Must be suitable for a range of applications:
o Embroidery
o Heatseal
o Badging and labels for products
o Marketing materials e.g. flyers, brochures, large format signage/banners
o Packaging e.g. polybags, boxes, tags
o Documents e.g. data sheets, shipping docs, official letters, user info sheets
- Must include the company name and TM symbol – ensure Traverrse is spelt correctly (double ‘r’)
- Do not include ‘safety workwear’ in new logo
Colourways
- Currently use a main colour of orange with secondary colours of grey, black and white
- Open to change on colour scheme
- Ideally one main colour with 1 – 2 secondary colours
- Must not infringe on competitor colour schemes too closely
