Logo Design Brief
A logo that has a contemporary feel but displays traditional values. One that will work well on a business card, brochure, website and signboards/hoarding around a site.
The company is a speculative property developer that builds and sells bespoke designed quality houses (homes) in the South of England. With a particular emphasis on high levels of customer service and satisfaction. The business model is to provide homes of traditional (solid) construction with contemporary interiors designed for modern living.
Design Specifics: As above, a logo that speaks of traditional quality and values (but perhaps that is already captured in the name) but with a modern contemporary twist. Possibly use of clean crisp modern text/fonts. We do not want a roof or house/building shape in the logo. One idea is to incorporate a stag image or silhouette. Possibly using the Pere David deer (as a slight play on words) or just the antlers imagery. Colour preference would be navy blue mixed with pale/sky blue but open to other suggestions.
Target Market(s)
The target market is discerning house/home purchasers and a mixture of mature downsizers (selling larger properties who now need less space), professional couples and families. Hence the need to appeal to traditional and modern with an appropriate logo.
