LeGrand And Company

In almost all of the submissions so far everyone has used regular fonts for the words "LeGrand and Company"
Maybe we should try a couple with fonts that are of a graphic element? Like Coca Cola or IBM ...
Or maybe it has a graphic built into the wording it self like "Fedex - Geomatry - Green Apple" ...
Also Several logos have wrenches or pipes in them. Wrenches tend to say "Mechanic" which I am not. Pipes are ok however keep in mind that this logo will be used for different types of businesses if you use pipes the more stream lined (thinner not so bold) the better..
Here in America plumbers tend to use a lot of big bulky pipes or pipe wrenches in their logo's/ads and they really don't look good. I understand it "screams" plumbing or drain cleaning, but to me this is just an old way of looking at things.
With that being said a couple designs have come in that have used pipes that seem to be thinner/more modern or part of a graphic and they look good.

Remember I am trying to make the name "LeGrand and Company" a brand - one that looks like it is professional, honest, dependable and a caring company. A logo that says " I trust this company" or "This company is really professional"

I know that is a lot for a logo to do and may be impossible but that is the goal...
