Illustration Design Brief

I have a story about the Christmas Penguin Post Box that is used at my son's school for the boys to "post" their cards sent to other boys in the school. My story is humorous and raises all sorts of questions about why a penguin was chosen for a Christmas post box and what on earth does a penguin have to do with Christmas. The boys put their cards in the penguin's mouth. I have uploaded a photograph of the penguin and need an illustration of it to go with my story. If you could do one illustration just of the penguin itself and another of some boys putting cards into it, that would be great. You can see the uniform the boys wear to school at http://www.hawkesdown.co.uk/ if you want to get a realistic drawing of what the boys wear when they put their cards in the penguin's mouth. The story will be published in a book about boys in school and also in a magazine article as a humorous story.

Requirements

Must have

• Just needs to be a reasonable likeness to the penguin shown in the photograph The story is very funny, so the illustration will be used in the context of a humorous discussion of why on earth a penguin would be chosen for a post box and what a strange little creature he to be sitting in the front hall of the school.

Nice to have

• Would like an illustration of just the penguin along the lines of what you see in the photograph, and, if possible an illustration of little boys (7-8 years) putting their Christmas cards in the mouth of the penguin. Boys wearing uniforms as seen at http://www.hawkesdown.co.uk.
