Logo Design Brief

We're undergoing a rebrand to reflect our organisation’s new strategic direction!

We initially need a logo but hope to find somebody we can work with on all associated marketing materials in future (website, business cards, brochures, etc).

The Dusseldorp Forum is a not-for-profit philanthropic organisation with a 25-year history of working to improve the educational and training opportunities of young people throughout Australia.

Our mission is: “to engage all young people in learning, enabling them to reach their potential and build a sustainable future.”

We support the development of ideas and approaches that will transform the learning landscape for young people and advocate for new forms of learning that are more effective, inclusive, creative and imaginative.

How we work:

1) PARTNER with champions working in the field of creative and flexible learning to add value to their work and thereby engage more young people in learning.

2) CONNECT with diverse partners to work collaboratively to share knowledge and skills, and to create cross-sector communities of practice that will strengthen outcomes.

3) INSPIRE systemic change by collaborating with our partners to showcase what works, promote social dialogue and influence the public debate to build a new vision for learning in Australia.

Background: On his retirement from Lend Lease in 1988, GJ Dusseldorp established the Dusseldorp Skills Forum “to benefit the Australian community by stimulating innovation and educational developments”.

  2. Lock-up version with the tagline

  5. Black and white version.
  
  The first D in Dusseldorp must be capital letters.

  We want something that conveys light/ luminescence. We see ourselves as a spark of light, a lighthouse, a hothouse of ideas and innovation.

• We do NOT want an icon (such as our current dandelion, see our website: http://dsf.org.au), but prefer to focus on a name based logo and an associated tagline.
  
  We are open to a very subtle iconography if it is incorporated into the words/ font. We do not want an icon to sit outside of the words Dusseldorp Forum.
