Logo Design Brief

I am seeking a new logo for my company - Nest Egg Guru. Nest Egg Guru is a web-based application for financial advisors to stress-test client retirement savings and spending strategies. Looking for a logo image that may stand on its own and/or with the tag Line - NestEggGuru - Enlightened Retirement Planning.

Original logo may be found at NestEggGuru.com and was derived from the notion of a obtaining wisdom from a Tibetan Guru at remote mountain temple. Marketing/SEO consultants have criticized our current logo as looking too much like a lighthouse, for being too obscure, for having color shading, and for not scaling well. We are seeking a new, simpler logo design that conveys both the nest egg concept and the concept that we bring wisdom or brilliant guidance to the user.

Requirements

Must have

• Must convey the concept of a nest egg and some sense of wisdom, brilliance, genius, or sage advice.

Nice to have

• The Apple Genius Bar logo used a modern image of an atom to convey genius. Maybe that concept with an egg as the nucleus would work for Nest Egg Guru. However, that is just one idea. I am open to other concepts.

Should not have

• Images of broken eggs, sunny-side up eggs, cartoon figures. We are seeking a modern, professional image.
