Postcard Design Brief

I wish to make a mailing of a postcard format to pathologists in the UK. Probable number between 500 and 1000.There are 3 elements. 1. A small number of words (about 12) 2. A picture of our product 3. A relevant (tissue section) background. I have knocked up a rough idea of what I want ... BUT ... I'm obviously not a designer. The text looks awful and needs some way of standing out (and being legible) against the background. I can send original images of product and background. Important ... Aspect ratios of images must not be changed.
