Logo Design Brief

Hi, we're a small earthmoving company with an excavator and tip truck. We've been using an image of an excavator (from vistaprint) with our company name on cards, promotional items etc which has been fine, but, advertising a little more and perhaps a website so it would be nice to have something original and innovative that's unique to us. Something simplistic but clever, eye catching but easy on the eye! (the logo will go on everything, trucks machines signs etc) Pretty open to any type of image: excavator/bucket or include the initials T&N as part of the logo/image..no absolute rules.
