Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new restaurant in the southeast pennsylvania/philadelphia suburbs that serves smoked BBQ food. Our location was at one time the town firehouse (Engine 23). Casual atmosphere with dine in or take out. Cold beer is available at our bar or to take out. Event catering is also available. Owners are lifelong friends. The final design should communicate our restaurant is a friendly "neighborhood" business that primarily serves BBQ.

Requirements

Must have

• Text should be very clear and easy to read when logo is made smaller or larger.
  Letters 'BBQ' should be used instead of the full word barbeque.
  Logo should stand alone and not require a background color.
  Logo should in full color but also clear with 1 color (may be printed as all black or all white)

Nice to have

• Logo could show fire themed objects such as: fire shield, fire, flames, fire truck, smoke.
  Could also include food/beer themed objects such as: fork & knife, beer glass, beer stein, bbq grill.

Should not have

• Do not use serif fonts.
  Do not use more than 1 color for font - make solid color.
  Do not use drop shadow on text or images.
  Do not show ribs, or other meat foods.
  Do not use pigs.
  Do not use human characters.
  Do not use fire axes, or other weapons.
