Logo Design Brief
I teach guitar and drums on a one to one, face to face basis with adults and children as students. I cover popular music styles on both instruments, rock, pop, blues, soul, funk, jazz, reggae, latin, and country. I am looking for a logo design that might look a little like a trophy. I would like to see an electric guitar neck in golden shiny colored wood, a tom tom drum in glossy maroon, a pair of drumsticks and a guitar plectrum in the trophy like object. I would like the chrome metal parts of the drum to appear shiny gold and the same with the chrome guitar tuning pegs. I would like the text mounted on a satin ribbon in grey. The ribbon might have a 'V' at both ends or perhaps a bird's wing type end and have an interesting scroll shape with the text on the ribbon in a nice regal looking font such as Palace MT. The logo will appear on my computer desktop quite large in the centre with the rest of the background appearing as black ruffled satin. It will go on facebook and must fit the square space they provide. It will appear on all my teaching pdf documents in the top left corner. I want it in my teaching videos in the top left corner. I might also need to have it printed onto T-shirts

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: I have had some very recent acceptors and I want to give them a little time. I will not extend after this. Many designers who have accepted quite early on still have not submitted any designs to me.

Target Market(s)
I teach all ages from 6yrs to pensioners. The vast majority of my students come from upper working class to middle class. Most of the children's parents are reasonably to well-educated people. Some are actually looking for the one to one tailor-made teaching that I provide.

Requirements
Must have
- Real looking guitar and drum or parts of as described. Satin grey ribbon as described with fancy text. Overall glossy appearance. I like the colour combination of maroon, grey and gold. I want it to speak quality and class.
Nice to have
- Some musical notation, notes on line, a treble clef. A guitar plectrum and a pair of drumsticks.
Should not have
- I don't want it to look drawn or painted and in any way to appear cartoon-like.
