Logo Design Brief

I need a logo designed for my 12 year old freelance business, "The Funeral Copywriter". I would like Art Deco styling. I've attached a version I got from a Fiverr designer (he tried his best, but everyone tells me it looks like a hot dog company logo). I've also attached a color palette and some Art Deco links, should you need them. I'd like something elegant in color and styling.
