Logo Design Brief

We are looking for a logo design (to later be used for business cards, powerpoint template, and simple website) for a Chicago real estate development firm.

We rehab and provide newly constructed homes. We are not a real estate brokerage firm (i.e., agents such as Century 21) and only operate in the Chicago area.

In terms of design, sophisticated and high end that would appeal to investors (theme should resemble investment banks, hedge funds, private equity rather than tech startup).

Logo should be able to be used with the text SNL Realty or can stand alone as the brand identity.

Target Market(s)

Sophisticated, high end, modern, successful investors

Sample style/feel would include: Seidler Equity, Fischer Capital, Laurel Capital Partners or Axial. This just just an example of the feel.

Inspirations to draw on would include mansions with granite, travertine, infinity pools, fine dark wood paneled library, well lit wine cellars. What shouldn't inspire: ceramic tile, carpet, light woods.

Other inspiration could be Chicago Buckingham Fountain

• Like tone on tone colors but doesn't have to be that. Sample below would be Happy Endings logo.

Should not have

• Including Chicago somehow is ok, but should not be a cheesy Font in the shape of the Chicago skyline.
