Logo Design Brief

We are a small catering business called Dessert Art. We initially started off offering mini desserts (cupcakes, cheesecakes, truffles), and have now expanded to include other food as well.

We do catering for business lunches, bridal showers, weddings as well as private parties.

Our original colour has coral in it and although we would like to keep that colour, we are open to other suggestions.

We would like the logo to communicate "upscale dining," but also that the food (and more importantly desserts) we create are a form of art.

Requirements

Nice to have

• One idea we had was to make the background a deep coral, have "Dessert Art" written in black, fancy writing, and have the two s's in Dessert be decorated with sprinkles (colourful dots). An option was to even have them glued by hand onto the business cards to create a 3D look.
  
  Another possibility was using the colour combination of coral, white and black (for the writing).
