Logo Design Brief

This is an engineering research lab based in the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign (bamlab.mechse.illinois.edu). The name of the lab stands for bio-inspired adaptive morphology. More details about the meaning of the lab's name can be found on our webpage. The main area of research at the BAM lab is the design of drones based on birds' wings. We want our logo to convey: that we design engineering systems inspired and informed by solutions found in nature and designed to resolve state of the art engineering challenges. The picture attached is an example of the vehicles/systems we design.
