Logo Design Brief

We manufacture professional audio equipment mainly used by people recording music. We are changing the look of our products to have a more "retro" or "vintage" style and need a new logo to match that conveys the feeling of "excitement" and perhaps "euphoria". The logo should be wide rather than tall so it will easily replace the existing logo screen printed onto our equipment panels, visit www.buzzaudio.com The attached file is a mock up of the new look. Lower case text and a small icon in black/grey is what we were thinking, but would love to see alternatives. The website version of the logo could have some color introduced to it. Most of our potential customers and users are male and usually musicians. Thanks!
