Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company based in NZ called "Mike Edwards". This is my name.

I provide parenting and family coaching and training to the community. We are a government funded, national org.

Our vision statement is: "A bright vision for families".

My brand home will be a website blog using the exact same template as used on these sites: http://michaelhyatt.com/ http://jackiebledsoe.com/.

I need a simple logo structure like the two websites mentioned above. My name with my initials in a logo device. landscape design. Device to work either beside my name or separately

My lead image in the website will be the profile image on my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/mike.edwards.9256028?fref=ts.

But I'd like my logo to be blue. Any shade of blue is acceptable. Not sure how this will clash with that profile image.
