Logo Design Brief

Our company is all about promoting collaborative interests-based negotiation. Good negotiation techniques involve focusing on one's underlying interests rather than locking into positions of stated wants. It involves attacking the problem rather than each other. Exploring each party's interests and what they may have in common leads to a construction conversation and gives them more to work with. The magic happens when areas of mutual agreement are reached as it facilitates the brainstorming of creative options. One idea could be two torch beams facing downwards intersecting into this triangle patch of mutual agreement. Please see attached chart. The top line shows typical positional bargaining which assumes the "pie" to be distributed is fixed. When parties put the spotlight on their underlying interests and those of the other party they explore ways to "expand the pie to be distributed". A circle (metaphorical pie) expanding could be another concept. Our company wants to help people navigate their way through their dispute negotiations.
