Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo for our family company. By the end of this year we open 2 new stores at just 200 yards form each other.
1: Van Wiemeersch Work - Wear - Workshop
=> categories: machines, tools, hardware, plumbing, electrical, garden, fencing, maintenance, storage & organization, workwear & a dedicated room for workshops & education.
2: Van Wiemeersch Rent - Repair - Refresh
=> categories: rental (machines & tools), repair (machines & tools) and a paintshop (=refresh)
We are the 3th & 4th generation in our business.
We would like to have green & blue as the basecolors of our logo.
The workman in our old logo's is very recognizable, so please make hem look like he's from 2016 in the new logo.
Van Wiemeersch is not an easy name to work with for a logo, but don't make ik look like Volkswagen (VW) :-)
