Logo Design Brief
We need a Logo/Name design identity to brand our new 24 hour Fitness business.
We will provide 24 hour gym access to members and we intend to grow into offering more than just generic gym access, in order to compete with fast growing franchised brands, adding greater value for our members.
We want to create a professional looking identity specifically using Green, probably on a white background.
I have an example of the kind of thing I'm looking for and I'm happy to retain the existing logo (or a version thereof) into a new Identity design, if that still works (I'm not a graphic designer, so excuse any amateur mistakes).
See example logo.
Entirely new designs are still very welcome.
The final design needs to convey professionalism, fun, and particularly an energetic/sporty community feel, within the fitness industry.
"Forging a Healthier World - Starting with You", may be a slogan we use.
'BodySmith' ... 'Forging' ... 'Chiseled Abs', is also a theme we have considered during meetings about graphics, though we don't want it to convey a 'hardcore Rocky-style' gym, as we still want to reach both male and female demographics with a fairly even split.

Requirements
Must have
- Green splashed in there somewhere.
Corporate/professional feel, as we may have health care professionals on-site, such as physio, chiro, etc.
Nice to have
- Corporate/professional feel, as we may have health care professionals on-site, such as physio, chiro, etc.
I was playing around with a set of abdominal muscles being chiseled out by a hammer and chisel, which may contribute toward the potential smithing/forging theme - but is not essential, just a thought. Possibly this may work for an additional graphic later on, apart from the name/logo design.
Should not have
- We don't want big bodybuilding male bodies, alienating women - we need something more corporate than that.
Should also not use old-style serif fonts - must appear modern.
