Logo Design Brief

Looking for a logo to brand a new venture at RollerSk8r.com. The site will be targeted toward recreational roller skaters offering skating tips, gear reviews, skate maintenance, best roller rinks, different skating styles, and exercise/nutrition for optimum performance. If a skate is used in the logo, I would prefer a "quad" skate rather than the newer inlines. I have not decided on any colors yet.
Note that on roller rink floors, figure circles in the center look like figure 8s which can be incorporated in the design. I was thinking of using the tagline "Fitness disguised as fun" but it's not set in stone.

Target Market(s)

I am NOT targeting kids, but mostly the 20-65 crowd who like to skate and visit national roller skating parties.
