Logo Design Brief
I would like to update and modernize our company logo. Our auto repair and tire retail center is in downtown Los Angeles near USC. Our clients are young, hip, urban, and educated. Our current clients are USC undergrad and grad students, USC professors and staff, and working class community. We want to connect with the professionals working in downtown (we have a few clients but not as many as we would like). We are a large (9 bay) center. Our competition are the local dealerships. Our goal is to attract those clientele by providing a warm and friendly service while giving our clients the comfort of a "name brand" professional guarantee of service. We also want to branch out and reach the residents in Silver Lake and Mid-City. We need a logo for signage, business cards, letterhead, advertising, website, etc.

Requirements
Must have
- Our business color scheme is red, gray, black, and white. We are open to adding or changing a color but it must work with the current colors of our business. The logo must also come in a black and white file for printing our invoices.
Nice to have
- A logo that can be modified horizontal, vertical, square, etc. I want a clean and fresh design.
Should not have
- We do not want a wrench, a tire, a car, or any "clip art" design. One doesn't expect a restaurant to have a fork in their design.
