Poster Design Brief

We need a poster design for our "7th" Independent South Asian film festival (ISAFF). We are a non profit film organization based out of Seattle. www.tasveer.org. Please look at our last film festival poster (attached) http://isaff.tasveer.org.


ISAFF is a 3-day South Asian film festival for people to discover, experience, and enjoy through a range of South Asian films, workshops, and forums. ISAFF creates a lively, stimulating, and focused environment for conversation, education, and exploration of issues that face South Asia* and its Diaspora.

South Asian countries are Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Tibet.

Target Market(s)

South Asians and Non South Asians who might have interest in our festival. Creative, professionals in Seattle, 25-60yr old

Requirements

Must have

• -Must have one South Asian element/ or elements. When people walk by the poster, they should be able to say the event is something about South Asia. (Please don't make it look like it is ONLY from India)
  
  -Poster should be able to print in 2 sizes-18 x 24” and 5 x 7" flier size
  
  - Must hand over the AI file after the project is done.
  
  - After I pick your project, should be able to tweak few things. limited to 5 small changes to enhance the poster visibility and accuracy.
  
  - It should be a attractive, get your attention for 7 seconds
  
  -Must have Tasveer Logo (attached).
  
  - Must say (with logo) Tasveer presents (in Tarnished Halo)
  -7th South Asian Film Festival
  - October 7th-9th, 2011
  - SIFF Cinema, 321 Mercer Street, Seattle, WA
  - must include the name of the countries.
  - must have url www.tasveer.org
  - please include sponsor logos (attached)
  
  
  ps: I have included a temporary poster I created, thinking of Seattle. Yet it doesn't have any South Asian element in it.

• - Play off the number 7, 7th festival, the dates are 7-9th.
  - I am thinking peacock, tree, 7
