Logo Design Brief

We are looking to have someone take a concept and turn it into an official logo for our e-sports start-up. Included in the work: To create the stand-alone logo, a version of the logo with our company name "Killing Spree", and a version of the logo that is "words only" for the company name. Would like a color version and a gray scale version as well.

I have attached to the project a concept of a logo that we liked a lot. We are looking to start from here and polish this up into a proper logo. If you have a great idea for a different design, please contribute that. We wanted to share something that we liked as a concept to get the ball rolling. We like the edgy nature of it (we are targeting gamers.) We aren't married to the color red though.

Looking as well for a basic brand style guide that would give us a list of colors (hex values, etc) and desired fonts to use as we build out. We don't want to boil the ocean on the style guide element but something basic that we can build around would be great. We want to be consistent as we go forward.
