Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new grunge/punk band from Los Angeles called Heart Condition. We want a raw, serious, distorted and rebellious spirit to the design. The lettering should have a sense of urgency and emergency. Please research German Expressionist Woodcutting from the 20th century to put a finer point on what we are looking for. I have attached some songs and examples of the Expressionist work we think will work best with our band's music and approach.

• Please check out the pics i have uploaded from German Expressionist Woodcuttings. The bands' name must scan well, but must still have a raw, distorted, and rebellious spirit to the presentation.

Should not have

• Don't make it look like a health care brochure--don't use some cheesy heart, if you do use a heart in the design, make sure it's raw, serious and distorted.
