Invitation Design Brief

We are hosting a charity gala and auction for a local non-for-profit that provides legal support to underage youth. The theme for the evening is "A Night of 1,000 Cranes" to reflect the Japanese legend that any person who folds 1,000 paper cranes gets their wish granted. The organization's wish is that children who require legal support get the help they need. There are currently no theme colours selected, so you have complete creative license.

One idea I had was to size the printing paper to that of a traditionally sized origami paper and have the event details on the front and the paper crane folding instructions on the back. It would be a graphical element more than a detailed instruction guide (no text). However, if you have a better idea, please don't feel the need to use this one.

Please join the Children's Legal Educational & Resource Centre in celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Artful Bench and Bar. To mark this momentous occasion, this years event will include cocktails, dinner and an expanded auction that includes art, vacation packages and luxury goods.
