Web Design Brief

PLEASE check out http://marshall.com.sg/x/DesignCrowd/DesignCrowd_Brief/Blank.html

It is a better description of what I am after. It includes everything in this brief and in an easier format. (And...I don't have your design skills, so it doesn't look great.)

========

What the site offers
-
I am about to launch a one-person company that provides three services:
1) executive coaching
2) leadership training
3) psychotherapy to adults

My Unique Selling Point
-
My unique selling point is that I am a coach who is also a relatively senior psychologist. However, psychologists can be seen as scary and that may put people off.

The Biggest Challenge: The Target Audience
-
One challenge is that because I sell 3 services, I want to appeal to more than one demographic. They are:

1) The representative from HR of a company who wants to buy a leadership course or find a coach for an executive in the company. (Usually mid-40’s and older.)

2) The executives who will take the selection made by the head of HR and may choose me from 3 or 4 other options. (Usually late 30’s to mid 40’s. Both men and women. From multinational companies.)

3) Psychotherapy clients who are coming to be directly, not via HR, and who don’t want to feel insecure that they aren’t executives but still may be a good fit to work with me. (More women than men. Age 34-45. Typically have some European or American exposure.)

The Problem
-
The executives I see may or may not have some psychological concerns, but most will quite like that I am a psychologist as long as I’m not “scary” but “kind”. (Kind is key.) So while it is important to show I am a therapist, I don't want it to make executives embarrassed when a colleague says “Oh, I looked at this guy’s website. You aren't in therapy are you?”

________
Please note, I originally posted this as 131936 Executive Coaching, Leadership Training, and Psychotherapy Website. With the help of one designer and also DesignCrowd customer support, I realized that I had requested only the design of a website, not the coding. I had offered the maximum amount, US$1000 (refundable). I am resubmitting the project here and I have guaranteed the funds. I am lowering the payment as I am now aware that I was only asking for design. I apologize for any inconvenience. And thank your for being interested in this project.

Nice to have
  • I would like have quotes slide in to a couple of the pages. These may have a photo of the author attached.

I would like LinkedIn integration with my business's LinkedIn page. (I haven't made one yet, so I'm not sure how it works.)
