Aging-in-place: Moving may not be the best decision for you or your aging family member due to personal choice, financial considerations, or other reasons. Later in life, or at any age, our homes often become cluttered and don't work as well for us as they once did. The prospect of downsizing, de-cluttering, organizing and discarding our belongings is overwhelming for most people. We can help you create a safer, clutter-free environment in your home for you to live more comfortably. You may need a little help, or just encouragement and assistance. Senior Life Stages support for aging in place include:• Helping you identify your priorities for near and long-term goals for staying in your home• Creating a barrier free floor plan that works best for you • Evaluating what you want to keep with you and what you no longer need and removing unnecessary furniture, clothing and other household items• Working with you to decide what you will donate, gift to others, put in storage, sell or dispose of• Coordinating with contractors to help with household improvements such as installation of safety or mobility products including: increased lighting, accessible light switches, hand rails, grab bars, nonskid flooring, a hand-held, flexible shower head, walk-in bathtubs, and the removal of throw rugs and pathway obstructions.• Helping you find appropriate in-home care if needed for helping with personal care, household chores, meal preparation, etc. • Connecting you with community resources for support, recreation and companionship based on your wishesMove /relocation management:We provide you and your adult children with project management and organizational expertise to develop a customized move management plan that will provide you with a stress-free transition to your new home. Our goal is that all our clients feel cared for, respected and their needs are understood.
