Logo Design Brief

This is a new consultancy company founded by industry veterans, called The Minerva Partnership Consultancy. We provide consultancy to companies and their boards of directors in the card payments industry (the companies which process your Visa/Mastercard transactions when you shop online). We specialise risk management, business development, strategy.

The key part of the name is MINERVA which will be our trading name. We came up with the name over a couple of nice bottles of wine, as it reminded us of our favourite hotel in Rome, The Grand Hotel de la Minerve (http://www.grandhoteldelaminerve.com).

The hotel is on a square where Bernini's famous elefant obelisk stands (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elephant_and_Obelisk). I would like to have some options where this is somehow incorporate into the logo design, but it may be tricky.

The other reason we liked the name MINERVA is because it is also the Roman goddess of commerce, and thusly of business.

We need a logo and design which is both visually catchy and memorable, but also exudes luxury and elegance since we are a boutique consultancy company.
