Logo Design Brief

Give + Take is the name of my almost new online clothing swap boutique. I would like it to read Give + Take as the main name and "Swap Boutique" as a secondary descriptor. It will be a website similar to swapstyle.com-only better!

I am looking to have the logo itself separate from the name. The way Target has its name and then the target symbol-it doesn't necessarily have to have that placement, just detached!

I have a concept for the logo, a mathematical equation (in keeping with the + sign in the name), and using instead of numbes or letters, have the characters be little drawings of shoes, handbags, dresses, etc.

After the equal sign in the equation, I would like a completed outfit showing different little apparel drawings. This will imply to the swapper that what they post to the online store, will turn into an entirely different outfit.

The color scheme I have in my mind is red and a bright hot-ish pink for the majority of the lettering, and then accents of bright yellow, bold orange, and maybe green or blue or tan or black as other colors.

I am open to other colors, but pretty set on bright red and/or pink as my lettering...I'd love to see what you all come up with!

That is just my concept and I am not completely wedded to the idea, if it turns out to look super lame and if you all come up with something much better, I'll be sold!

Another concept that I never finished thinking through was the whole green, recycling concept, but if there is a way to make that about fashion (rather than too "granola"), I am interested as well...

Updates

Hi everyone, thanks for the designs submitted so far!  I've increased my budget to $150, hoping to get more designs and see the equation concept that I would like to see.
I'm going to see if I can upload a short, fat equation, with the DesignBay staff-to use as an example.

For those of you not submitting an equation, why not?  Is it "stupid", too complex, or something else?

Also, I really would like to have a logo that is separate from the name itself, the way Target stores or Mozilla Firefox have theirs.  I should have included that in the requirement.

Designers, please look at my supporting file that has the equation concept.  Please imagine instead of where the letters are, a little graphic of shoes, dresses, handbags etc. and then after the equal sign an entirely different outfit all put together.  This would suggest walking in with certain items and getting an entirely new outfit.

Is this just so cheesy that no one wants to touch it?  Too complex, would cost at least $500?  What, why,  doesn't anyone want to do it?  Please give me feedback!

Target Market(s)

I will serve ladies in the 16 to 45 age bracket, who have a taste for fashion on the higher end. Think those that want to dress like Kate Moss or Lindsey Lohan, etc., but also the tamer Anthropologie crowd as well.
