Poster Design Brief
I am the Vice President of Advocacy for the BC Teacher Librarians Association. I am looking to have a set of posters made for DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) in October. DEAR is a time when all school children in BC are encouraged to Drop Everything and Read for 15-20 minutes at some point in their day. We try to get BC personalities and politicians to go out to schools to model reading for children.
I would like to get a set of 2 digital posters designed (if possible it would be nice to have the option to print to both 11x17 and 8.5x 11 paper). We need a poster that is high school (Grade 8-12) appropriate and one that is elementary (Grade k-7) appropriate. Both posters need to be replicated in French. All posters need to have the BCTF logo on them as well as the BC Teacher Librarians Association Logo.
My budget is not huge (whose is?), but we are flexible and open with design. We want posters that appeal to the age groups they are designed for and that promote reading. We would require the digital copy by August 20. Schools will arrange for their own printing as distribution to all the schools in BC is laborious.
Each poster needs to have the following information:
Drop Everything and Read (DEAR)
October 26, 2015
the logo for the BCTF (attached)
the logo for the BCTLA (attached)- the logos do not have to be large.
Updates
Project Deadline Extended
Reason: I have been travelling internationally and have found myself ill. I like several of the designs, but I need to look at how they will translate into French and I have not been able to do this at this point.
