Web Design Brief

The St. Louis Selects Hockey Club is looking for a custom Joomla template to apply to our new website.

The St. Louis Selects develop and showcase the elite level hockey player from the St. Louis area and beyond in an effort to help them realize their athletic/academic dreams. We do this by focusing on hockey development and exposure as well as academic support This program is geared toward serious student athletes who understand academics and athletics go hand in hand.

What we're looking for:
We have an active website today (www.stlouisselectshockeyclub.com), however we’re looking for a new joomla design that gives us a more modern and somewhat bold look and feel.
• We would like our logo to be the centerpiece of the top banner - http://cdn3.sportngin.com/attachments/photo/3568/9429/Logo_Selects_medium.png
• We would like to have static images in the background of players. For example see www.nahl.com. They have static images of players in the background, but off to the side so they’re always seen when scrolling through the pages. Images attached for reference.
• We would like a horizontal menu bar at the top with the following menu items… Home, News, Teams (16u, 18u), Calendar, About, Alumni, Coaches, Values & Expectations, Camps, Contact)
• We would like social media integration (youtube, twitter, facebook, etc...)
• We would like to leverage a color scheme that is similar to the logo http://cdn3.sportngin.com/attachments/photo/3568/9429/Logo_Selects_medium.png
• We want the ability to promote sponsors w/ banners & logos, etc…
• We would like to have an integrated calendar as well.
Overall we're looking for a fresh, new and custom design. Some other websites we like the layout and design of include:
