Logo Design Brief
We need three logo designs to support two new home improvement services that will be introduced to the Ottawa market. The three services are (1) OakWood HandyManPro, (2) OakWood RenoTeam, and (3) OakWood Design + Build. Our flagship service has been offered to the Ottawa market for the past 59 years. We are adding two new services to reach new customers and diversify the brand. See the attached brief for details on each of these new services and the wordmark requirements.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: I am extending the timeline because I will be traveling for the next week and will have limited Internet access during that period. I will share selected designs with the client (OakWood) at that time and provide feedback following that. I would like to thank everyone for participating in and contributing their creative talents to this project.

HandyManPro provides services to homeowners looking for small repairs and fix it up projects. RenoTeam appeals to homeowners that are planning a small to medium sized home renovation (e.g. kitchen, bathroom, basement) and want the option to choose the specific services they want (for example, they may opt to do the teardown themselves or the painting). OakWood Design + Build is a premium, full service, turnkey renovation solution for discerning homeowners planning a mid to large size renovation and need concept design and want exceptional project management and the highest quality materials. Think Scion, Toyota, Lexus from a branding perspective.

- Wordmark for OakWood HandyManPro, OakWood RenoTeam, and OakWood Design and Build
- Each must use the supplied OakWood master logo.
Nice to have
- OakWood logo must be small and understated for HandyManPro and RenoTeam. It must be the dominant visual element for OakWood Design + Build.
- The OakWood green swoosh or arc (on the main logo) can have a different colour for HandyManPro and the RenoTeam. Consideration can be given to an icon or visual to support each (for example, a check mark or an icon of a hammer for HandyManPro...etc.)
Should not have
- Flashy design. All wordmarks should be simple and unfussy.
