Logo Design Brief

Hi there,
We're a classic car media group that tells the unique and fascinating stories behind classic American cars from the 1950s and 1960s. Our slogan is 'Every Car Has A Story' and we love the human interest side of automobiles. We're in need of a new, fresh, strong, bold, graphic logo for our company. We want it to be abstract. Some ideas would be incorporating Route 66, diners, roads, typewriters, pens, books etc... that all support our mission to tell the stories behind the cars. For inspiration we would like to see retro designs full of influences from the '50s & 60s.
